THMCEC Charities

The Tweed Heads Motorcycle Enthusiasts Club Inc., based in Northern NSW, supports a number of charities. By becoming a member and/or attending our raffles and events you help to support those in need in your community.

Some of the Charities the Tweed Heads Motorcycle Enthusiasts Club supports include:

The Tweed Heads Community Men’s Shed

The Australian Mens Shed Association (AMSA) is a community-based organisation that’s accessible to all whose primary activity is the provision of a safe, friendly & healing environment. Members are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of others. A key focus is to advance the well-being and health of its members & to encourage social inclusion.

Kids in Need

KIN is run by a small group of volunteers, who raise funds through sponsorship and fundraising. We do not have a head office, therefore minimal overheads which means that all the funds we raise can go towards making life easier for many children & their families. KIN has been a very successful and much needed organisation in our local community.

Requests are made to us by supporting letters from therapists, medical practitioners, and specialist professionals for such items as:

  • Rehabilitation equipment

  • Orthotics

  • Ongoing medical costs for specialised treatment

  • Therapeutic and medical equipment to enhance the quality of the child’s life

  • Adaptive & specialised equipment

  • Special dietary supplements

  • Sensory Equipment
