And so our first run for 2017 has come and gone already with a great turn up once agan, I think someone counted around 70 bikes.
The rollup started off a bit slower than usual but then the bikes just kept rolling in and the crowd quickly grew in numbers.
After Harry’s address to the crowd and Rod letting everyone know where our first stop was we set off to do some back roads of Cudgen, and once again this is where corner markers are of utmost importance because as I came past BP Chinderah roadhouse there was no corner marker and I caught up with a group at the oaks ave turnoff to be told that most had veered off at Chinderah. Our group continued up through Cudgen with our corner markers doing their job and getting us past some great scenery and to our first stop at the Victory Hotel Mooball where we caught up with the rest of the crew.
After a quick refreshment stop we mounted up again and headed up over Burringbar range out through Stokers Siding and onto Uki Pub for another quick refreshment stop, before making the final run to Crams Farm where once again Phill and the crew had a magnificent meal and drinks ready for the hungry/thirsty mob of motorcycle enthusiast.
The Crams Farm T shirts went over well and if you missed out on one just contact Rod or Andy and see what they have left. I spoke to several newcomers on the day that were very happy with club – the ride (even though we were split up for a short while) and especially the Crams Farm area and Phill’s usuall awesome feed which included prawns after lunch.
After our raffles prizes were all won everyone slowly dispersed and either made their way home etc.
Thank you to all who turned up for our first ride and we hope to see as many as we can on the 12th February for our Over The Hill Run. Click on a pic to enlarge it.
